Marvel Studios released the first official trailer of the Hawkeye series featuring Clint Barton and Kate Bishop in the main lead. After the 13 years of his debut in MCU, Hawkeye is now officially getting his own solo TV series. Here’s all Hawkeye Trailer Easter Eggs that you may have missed.
From the trailer, The timeline of this series is based after the events of Avengers Endgame where Clint Barton is spending quality time with his family. After losing his family due to the snap of Mad Titan Thanos in Avengers Infinity War, Clint never gets a chance to spend time with his family.
The first line of the Hawkeye trailer “This is the first Christmas we’ve has together in years” indicates a family reunion after 5 years time gap.
Hawkeye Trailer Easter Eggs, Captain America – Steve Rogers
After the first scene of Hawkeye’s official trailer, we got to see the title of “Rogers The Musical” on one of the posters in New York street. It shows that the people of New York didn’t forget the first Avengers Steve Rogers and paying tribute to him with a musical theater.
The tagline of this musical glimpse says “A timeless story of a timeless hero. An all American musical for an all American hero.”
This is not the first time when Marvel gave tribute to Steve Rogers, in the starting of Spider-Man Far From Home Marvel gave a tribute to his dead superheroes including Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, and more.
Kate Bishop as Ronin
From the trailer, it’s clear that Kate Bishop became Ronin after the events of Endgame. Before this, we saw Clint barton as Ronin in MCU. While the reason for Hawkeye’s becoming Ronin was his grief of losing his family due to Thanos‘ snap (just like Wanda in the WandaVision series), but it’s pretty unclear that why Kate Bishop became Ronin and who she got the suit of Ronin.
The news running of TV cleared that Kate Bishop is just attacking the underworld, bad guys, as Ronin did. One of Clint’s lines in this trailer “When I wore this suit, I made a lot of enemies” indicates that Kate Bishop is in serious danger after wearing this suit. This lead to another problem for Clint Barton, while he was with his family after so many years.
Taskmaster vs Kate Bishop
Another easter egg you might have missed is, in one of the fight sequences of the Hawkeye trailer, we saw Kate Bishop shooting an arrow on her enemies in the same way as Taskmaster did in the Black Widow movie. While we know that Taskmaster can only learn someone’s moves by watching them. And the events of the Black Widow movie happened between Captain America Civil War and Avengers Infinity War.
The point to ponder is, how were Taskmaster’s and Kate Bishop’s moves the same? Is it only an incident or has there something happened in the past? We know, anything can happen in the MCU. But it was good to see one to the best scene of the Black Widow movie again in MCU.
