Venom: Let There Be Carnage is the sequel of Tom Hardy’s Venom released in 2018. This movie earned over $850 Million and became the most successful movie of Sony in past years. Therefore, Sony decided to make a sequel to this movie.
Venom 2 will feature Carnage as the main villain and was originally scheduled to release on October 2, 2020. But because of the increase in COVID-19 cases in the U.S, Sony shifted its release date to June 25, 2021. With another delay, Venom: Let There be Carnage was set to release on September 14, 2021. Fans are super excited to see Woody Harrelson’s Carnage after seeing the action sequences in the recently released trailer of Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
Sony’s other long-awaited movie Morbius was delayed many times and now the reports came that Venom 2 is officially been delayed again.
According to reports of Variety, Venom: Let There Be Carnage has been delayed three weeks, and now, it’s officially set to release on October 15, 2021, due to increasing cases of COVID-19 cases in the U.S.
Deadline also reported that Venom: Let There Be Carnage seems to be delayed to October 15, 2021, due to an increase in COVID-19 cases.
This movie was already delayed many times due to an increase in COVID-19 just before its theatrical release, and now, one more delay came when the movie was a few weeks away from its theatrical release.
Will Spider-Man: No Way Home delay after all this?
Now the question that came after all these delays is that will Spider-Man: No Way Home also delay?
If we see the presentation of Marvel Studios through its Disney+ shows or with its theatrical release of movie, Marvel Studios gave us mind-blowing content during this pandemic time with its Disney+ shows, e.g. WandaVision, The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, Loki, and with the theatrical release of the Black Widow movie. Another series, Marvel’s What if…? is currently streaming on Disney+. The next movie of the MCU franchise is ShangChi And The Legend Of Ten Rings is set to release on September 3, 2021.
